Ambleside Memorial Tree of Light
New for 2025
When one of founding members passed away last year, we wanted to do something to remember them and all the good they did for the Ambleside Lights.
We decided a memorial tree of light would be a fitting way to remember Fiona and all the other people that can't be with us over the festive season.
So this year there will be a real Christmas Tree in Market Cross shining bright full of wooden stars with memorial dedications
Add your dedication to the Tree of Light
If there's someone who you would like to remember or isn't here for the festive season, for a small donation you can have a light on our tree along with a wooden star with your dedication to them.
Please note, we are not posting out any stars, any ordered online will have the message written on and put on our Christmas Tree in Market Cross for the festive season.
We will have a stall in Market Cross where you can come along and write a dedication on a star that we will hang on the tree for you.

Please note. Due to the logistics and available time, we are unable to return
any stars that are on the tree. They will be be recycled along with the tree.
