Ambleside Memorial Tree of Light
New for 2025
When one of founding members passed away last year, we wanted to do something to remember them and all the good they did for the Ambleside Lights.
We decided a memorial tree of light would be a fitting way to remember Fiona and all the other people that can't be with us over the festive season.
So this year there will be a real Christmas Tree in Market Cross shining brightfull of wooden stars with memorial dedications

If there's someone who you would like to remember or isn't here for the festive season, for a small donation you can have a light on our tree along with a wooden star with your dedication to them.
We will have a stall in Market Cross where you can come along and write a dedication on a star that we will hang on the tree for you.

If you purchase one of our wooden stars online. You can leave a note with your dedication and we will make sure it goes on the tree over the festive period.
